Sue Chandler, MPH, MSW ~ Executive Director (email)
Sue Chandler was named Executive Director of DOVE February 1, 2010. Ms. Chandler brings over two decades of non-profit leadership and management to her role. She earned her undergraduate degree at Bowdoin College in Maine, Master of Public Health and Master of Social Work degrees at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, and completed a Certificate Program in Nonprofit Management & Leadership through the Boston University School of Management Executive Leadership Program in 2011. Ms. Chandler has long served on the Governor's Council to Address Sexual and Domestic Violence, Neighborhood Health Plan's Domestic Violence Advisory Council, and the Board of Directors of Emerge, the nation's first batterer intervention program. Immediately prior to her appointment at DOVE, she was the Director of the Community Advocacy Program (CAP) of CCHERS, Inc., in Boston, a partnership of community health center-based domestic violence programs serving Dorchester and Roxbury.
Donna Morelli, MSW, LICSW, JD ~ Director of Programs & Services (email)
Donna Morelli joined the DOVE staff June 1, 2010. She is a native of Massachusetts and completed her BSW at Elms College in Chicopee, MA, in 1990, and her MSW at SUNY Albany in 1993. Donna comes with extensive experience providing services for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Most recently, Donna served as a Staff Attorney with Western Mass Legal Services in the Family Law Unit, as well as a Legal Advocate in Benefits, and originally as a student volunteer, from 2006-present. Donna worked with the Elizabeth Freeman Center in Pittsfield as Counselor and Clinical Supervisor from 1997-2008. Her other experience includes working with New Hope, Inc., and Shelter Inc. Donna is proficient in Spanish, and is very highly regarded by her peers in the worlds of social work, domestic violence services and advocacy, and legal advocacy and practice.
Tracy Gibbs ~ Director of Development & Communications (email)
Tracy Gibbs, began her position September 2011. Also a native of the South Shore area of Massachusetts, Tracy completed her BSBA at Emmanuel College in Boston. She is an experienced non-profit professional specializing in Communications, Public Relations and Development. She has worked in several area non-profits including The Cambridge Center for Adult Education, Year Up, Museum of African American History and YouthBuild/USA.
